Mr. Falcon Working On Top Chef 9
I remember the running and chasing I had to do during this episode. One thing about Hollywood is that you must be alert and be ready for the unexpected. And 17 hour work days. All for one perfect vision.
Give me your thought... What are differences and issues between a feature film camera operator and a reality television camera operator?
If you have done your research, you will find out that the reality tv network is in high demand and most sitcom and film production crew are trying to make that switch for more potential and the most money paid to a production crew.
Keep in mind that budget is considered especially when they do not pay reality stars like sitcoms pay their actors.
Please explain it in a few paragraphs.
Think about it.

wicked cool man
ReplyDeleteWell, I think these are just a way to get us to watch the show later on. You did a good job filming this though. What I'm wondering about though, is why do you bother still teaching if you film famous people!?!?
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty cool. i would think that the really big difference between filming a movie and this is that with a movie you know what is planed to happen next with a reality show you don't.
ReplyDeleteWith reality tv you have tons of footage that is never aired and lots of editing is required. With a movie you film what is in the script and you know what your filming. With a reality tv show you have to film everything because you never know what will happen and then you have to go back and edit out what you don't want.
ReplyDeleteThat's really cool that you get to film all that and be with them. That's my dads favorite show!
ReplyDeletehahah that was cool peewee herman is like 100 years old and shouldn't be riding a bike!
ReplyDeleteI think the difference is it can be more organized and know what is going to happen for movies and for t.v it may not be as organized.
ReplyDeletei think its real cool that you got to film this. if i had the opportunity to do something like this it would take a lot of hard work. seems like a lot of fun to control it. and to be able to meet famous people. i think it would take lots of practice to get that perfect to be on point to do everything on the exact time your boss asks for you to hit. great job.
ReplyDeleteThats amazing. how everyone works together to accomplish one goal. It can get a little tense but at the end of the day, they can smile and laugh knowing they accomplished the goal.
ReplyDeleteI think its pretty awesome, but crazy. I never really thought about the film people or how it is to be them.. It was cool to see
ReplyDeleteIts pretty tight and the video does look like it took a lota time. the girl running with the camera is crazy strong ha.
ReplyDeletethats cool that they have code words and that they work like a family. i think its interesting how lol i like peewee hes cool
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of differences between a movie cast crew and ttv show crew. In the movie one, they didn't communicate. There was absolutely no talking!! And everything went kind of slow. The tv show crew actually talked to each other. Everything went smoothly. I think that I would rather work for with a tv show crew then, a crew that films movies.
ReplyDeleteWell when the Top Chef crew were working together it seemed pretty hectic! There was alot of movement and the crew was always working! It seems like the work is never done when working on a cooking show. But besides that I think that the closeness that they have gets them through each and every day. Behind a movies scene is surprisingly calm. Everything seems to be in a mellow mood. In my opinion I would love the family vibe working with Top Chef, but I would rather work behind a movie set.
ReplyDeleteits a big difference between, the two types of t.v. sets. the reality show camera crew is just a little un organized & always running crazy. The Movie camera crew is more settle, their cameras are steady, while the reality camera crew is moving around alot.
ReplyDeleteIn the show everyone was loud following orders is was more live and koatic. While during the movie its more silent and calm, both are interesting but differently created its pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteThe main difference between i could see is that with filming a movie everything is more planed and you know whats going to happen. With a reality show you don't know what can happen next and its a shorter period of time.
ReplyDeleteIn a tv show, it's all talkative, and everyone has to be on top of their game or they'll be out of a job. In a movie, it's more slow and quiet cause everyone knows what's going on.
ReplyDeleteI think reality television sets are more crazy and you have to be fast and be ready for something at all times because something could happen and you will have to make a solution quick.
